Permanent Beauty by Mona is run by Mona, a permanent makeup artist, and the work centers on permanent makeup. Manicures and pedicures are also offered.

Every visit starts with a consultation that covers medical history, the consent form, and the client's preferred style and result. The shape is drawn on the skin with a cosmetic pencil and measuring tools before any pigment is placed. A patch test is done beforehand unless it is waived, and treatment is not performed if a client has any contraindications. Allow two to three hours from start to finish on the day.

A new set of permanent makeup is completed over two appointments, and the process can involve more sessions. A touch-up is scheduled four to eight weeks after the procedure, with a second touch-up needed only on rare occasions. Healing takes about six to eight weeks, and the true color shows after at least six weeks. Clients are checked five to ten days after the procedure. The business says results last at least one to three years.

Disposable materials are used, or tools are two-step sterilized after each procedure. Sterile cartridges with a full safety membrane are opened in front of the client. Before the procedure, clients avoid alcohol and caffeine on the day, and avoid blood thinners and pain killers for at least 24 hours. Aspirin, ibuprofen and Aleve are avoided for at least 48 hours. Consultations are available in English, Persian and Romanian.
