Amanda Rozzi owns Painted by Rozzi, a hair studio in Newton Center that describes itself as a luxury studio outside Boston. Color is the center of the work, and the menu is organized around color services, consultations and coaching, with cutting, styling, extensions and treatments alongside.

Most color work starts with a conversation. Color corrections and fantasy color both require a consultation before booking, and extension services do as well. Custom color transformations are priced from $550, and the studio also offers root melts, glosses, gray coverage on the roots or all over, and foil services in several sizes, from a hairline-only micro foil to full traditional foils.

The studio also teaches. Clients can book a one-on-one Zoom coaching session, a half-day or full-day Look and Learn session, or a hands-on one-on-one class that includes product, and in-salon classes are available on request. Appointments are offered Wednesday through Saturday, and the studio is closed Sunday through Tuesday.

Cancellations within 48 hours of an appointment are charged half of the scheduled cost, and cancellations within 24 hours are charged the full cost.

Amanda builds personalized color looks for each client around individual consultations.
