NYC Weave Studio is a boutique salon on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, at 500 East 89th Street. It is reachable by the Q, 4, 5 and 6 trains, the M86 bus, and the NYC Ferry at 90th Street. Every service is booked in advance, and appointments for each month open for booking on the first day of the prior month.

The studio's specialty is wig installs and sew-in weaves. It also makes custom wigs with a U-part, a lace closure or a lace frontal for clients of all ethnic backgrounds, and braid-less sew-ins built from one track or from one to four bundles of hair. The NYC Package Sew In includes a protective net, flat iron, body curls, a lace closure installment and a cut, while the Pixie 27 Piece Sew In includes styling, a cut or trim and a protective net. Ponytails, one step and two step color, bleached knots, detangling and natural hair trims are also available.

A visit starts with the hair arriving washed and blown dry so a comb can pass through it. Hair, bundles, weave and extensions are bought separately, through the shop tab on the website, and are not part of service packages or pricing. Video chat consultations cost $25 and are offered after 7pm Monday to Friday, which suits clients who need to talk through a look before booking in person.

The studio aims to create wigs, weaves and extensions that look natural and suit each client. Each service is matched to what the client needs and to the method that best fits the health of their hair.
