The team is led by owner Jeffrey Stein, who has been a stylist and salon owner for more than 40 years and has owned several salons in New York City.

Before an appointment, clients can book a video consultation to talk through their goals, look at their current style and plan the service. Clients are asked to arrive with freshly washed hair that has no styling products in it, fully dry and detangled. Services are grouped into haircuts, styling, color, treatments and consultations, and a Start-to-Finish Transformation is offered for a full refresh or seasonal reset, starting at $100.

Booking is online through Fresha with instant confirmation and payment in the app. The salon is closed on Mondays and Sundays. Changes need at least 24 hours' notice by phone or through the online booking system, and emails and social media messages do not count. Cancellations inside 24 hours carry a fee of 50% of the service, and no-shows without notice are charged the full amount. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may have services shortened or the appointment moved, and repeated no-shows may result in a permanent ban. Fresha lists the salon with a 5.0 rating from 1,426 reviews, according to Fresha.
