Every visit begins with a consultation. For haircuts, the stylist talks through the guest's goals, hair type, lifestyle and upkeep, and haircut prices are set during that conversation based on stylist experience, hair length and thickness, and service time. Every haircut includes a stress-relieving scalp, neck and shoulder massage, a hand treatment and a professional blow dry, and each visit includes an Aveda aroma journey and a beverage.

The salon specializes in precision haircuts, customized Aveda color, balayage, blonding, gray coverage, hair extensions and styling for occasions. Listed prices are often starting prices, and some services are priced by consultation. Haircuts start at $93 at the Upper West Side location and $75 in Morningside Heights, and the Morningside Heights location lists lower prices across many services. Color and extension appointments, along with chemical services, require a credit card at booking to hold the reservation, and cancellations less than 24 hours ahead may be charged half the reserved service price. A $1 environmental stewardship fee per visit supports recycling of salon waste through Green Circle Salons. The salon also states it supports HairtoStay, which works with cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, and it says it supports charities that help preserve rainforests and protect clean water.
