Nroda Beauty is a Houston business that combines lash and brow services with education and a product line. The studio was started about two years ago by Samantha Smikle, who also works as the lash artist. Its stated aim is to bring out each client's own beauty rather than a single look.

Lash removal is also offered. A full lash application takes about 90 minutes to 2 hours. Each extension is placed one per natural lash, or as a fan of several extensions on one natural lash, with the client lying down and eyes closed. Extensions typically last about 3 to 4 weeks, and the studio recommends a fill every 2 to 3 weeks. Length and thickness are chosen based on the health of the client's natural lashes.

Training is a large part of the business. One-on-one training includes mentorship in a Classic, Mega Volume or Combo course, covering theory, placement, client consultation, fan-making, building a clientele and social media marketing. Class hours run from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and the Combo course is a two-day process. Each student receives a training kit, a manual and a lifetime discount on Nroda Beauty products. Other courses include a 2-day designer lash application masterclass, a wispy styling course, a volume course, and online courses on building a lash clientele, lash marketing and branding, and buying from eyelash extension vendors. The studio says its training can help students become a successful six-figure beauty business owner. Training can be paid with a deposit and a balance due on the first day of class, or paid in full, with Klarna financing available at checkout for full-price payment.

Services and product pickup are by appointment only. Appointments are booked through the studio's online booking page. The studio is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM, and is closed on Sundays and Mondays. Wholesale product orders are placed by email, and a minimum order of $4,500 qualifies for a 50% discount on the total.

The studio aims to bring out each client's authentic beauty, and extension length and thickness are chosen with the health of each client's natural lashes in mind.
