Haircuts are planned around each guest's lifestyle, how much upkeep they want and their longer-term goals. Cuts come with a grow-out plan, so the shape is designed to keep working between visits. Stylists are encouraged to make every guest feel at home, and the salon aims to make stylists feel valued too.

Pricing does not depend on gender. Services are priced by time, technique and how much personalization they need. Color prices include the color service and a blow-dry, while haircuts and treatments are charged separately. New guests can book a free consultation, which lasts 30 minutes for general hair services, 45 minutes for extensions and 30 minutes for fashion color.

The salon is a Paul Mitchell salon. Its team hosts several advanced education sessions in the salon each year with specialist educators, takes part in regional and national education, and joins annual travel education experiences. An internal education fund helps each stylist keep building skills. Alchemy Cares supports local nonprofits and environmentally conscious practices.

Booking runs through the Square platform. A card on file is needed to book. Clients can ask for an invoice to pay before an appointment, but clients who have not paid cannot rebook with any stylist until payment is made. Cancellations or changes need at least 24 hours' notice, and missed appointments or late cancellations are charged 50% of the scheduled services. Arriving 15 minutes late may mean the service is shortened or moved if it cannot be completed in the remaining time. Client information, including card details and email lists, is kept private and is not shared with outside companies.
