Nail Addictionz

Nail Addictionz is a nail salon on Imperial Avenue in San Diego. The salon describes itself as more than a nail salon: a space where clients, creatives, beauty professionals and businesses return to connect, make things, grow and take part in its community.

The salon was founded by Raisa, a nail artist and photographer, together with Bonnie, its business manager and creative director. Their work spans nails, beauty education, business support and content, and the studio's services are offered in English, Spanish and French.

Custom nails are designed around each client's lifestyle and nail goals. Styles range from bold art and clean luxury to soft neutrals, chrome, color, structure and statement sets. Teeth whitening and tooth gems are also offered, along with headshot sessions at $80 and a refresh headshot and content shoot option listed at $175. Private rentals of the space start at $275 per hour.

Beginner intro classes run two hours each and cover acrylic nails, Gel-X nails and tooth gems, priced at $150 per class. Nail classes cover basic nail prep, application, shaping and filing, and guidance on nail school. The tooth gem class covers tools, tooth preparation, gem placement, curing, sanitation and basic pricing tips. The salon also offers business coaching sessions, marketing days and beauty business workshops, and sells its own merchandise, including T-shirts and candy hand scrubs for members.

Services are members only, by appointment and referral based. The studio is adult-focused, and children of any age are not permitted during appointments; a fee starting at $45 may apply. Changes need at least 24 hours' notice, and same-day changes may be charged the full service fee. No-call or no-show appointments are charged the full amount of the service booked, which must be paid before a new booking, and clients who reach two such appointments can no longer book. Adult-only 420-friendly sessions, booked in advance by donation, are offered in partnership with Klover Dispensary in San Diego. The salon states it is not a smokehouse, dispensary, cannabis lounge or public consumption space.
