Muse Modern Salon

Muse Modern Salon started with an all-men clientele and now serves both men and women. It later moved into its current storefront at 4500 W. 38th Ave, Suite 120, in Denver.

The salon describes itself as Denver's first Kerastase boutique salon and uses Kerastase products throughout, including Kerastase Huile Oil to finish haircuts. Blonding services include a post-bleach Kerastase wash and treatment. The salon points to Denver's dry air, sunshine and 5,280-foot elevation as contributing to dry, brittle hair, and offers in-salon conditioning treatments tailored to each guest's needs.

Color services include all-over color, with monochromatic looks and grey root retouches, plus glaze, which refreshes existing color, removes unwanted tones and adds shine. Blonding options include balayage, a lower-maintenance dimensional blonde that can also refresh an existing one, and Babylight, a finely woven highlight that gives a solid all-over blonde. Extensions are offered as laced, hand-tied pieces for added density or length, or as an invisible bead method for clients who wear their hair up or down. Precision cuts are made for short, curly, long or thick hair and finished with a warm steam towel.

The bridal team offers hair and makeup for weddings, says it has over seven years of experience specializing in weddings, and will travel for wedding days. Clients can text the salon to join its text line, and the salon is open Tuesday through Friday from 11:00am to 7:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, closed Sunday and Monday.
