The Olive Tiger

The Olive Tiger was established in 2024 at 1701 Platte St., Suite 101, in Denver's Platte Street area. The space combines a hair salon and barbershop with a cocktail bar, and the surrounding block is lined with shops, restaurants and bars. Metered street parking is nearby, and paid parking is available in the building.

On the hair side, the salon offers balayage, highlights, custom color, precision haircuts, blowouts and hair extensions, along with event styling. The barbershop offers a fade and shave and a deluxe package with a hot towel, neck shave, a gentleman's face treatment and a neck, shoulder and scalp massage. The salon describes itself as a top-rated hair salon in Denver and as offering a high-end experience.

Visits typically begin with a consultation, where the stylist learns what the client is hoping for, how they live and how much upkeep they want to do. Clients can book online, by phone at 720-988-5177, or by email. New clients receive 20% off any service. Stylists work as independent contractors who set their own terms and manage their own booking sites, and the salon does not handle service payments or refunds.

The bar uses handcrafted syrups made in-house, and nearly 90% of the cocktail menu can be made without alcohol. A full coffee program and fresh smoothies are also available. Every blowout booked during happy hour includes a glass of sparkling wine.

Private events can include bachelorette parties, birthdays, work and team gatherings and brand activations, with group styling and custom drink menus. Catering is arranged through the preferred vendor My Neighbor Felix, which also partners with the salon for 20% off food and drinks in either direction with a same-day receipt. Cancellations made less than 24 hours ahead may carry an administration fee of up to the full service cost, clients more than 15 minutes late may be rescheduled, and an appointment may be cancelled and a no-show fee charged if the salon hears nothing within the first 15 minutes. The salon describes itself as eco-friendly, and R+Co is moving its packaging to 55% recycled PCR plastic.
