Visits usually begin with a one-hour consultation priced at $50, which includes a $25 credit toward a first retail purchase. During it, the team reviews an intake and health history form, cleanses and analyzes the skin, reviews home care products, and suggests treatments and home care. The studio offers treatments only, home care only, or combined plans, and generally recommends pairing in-studio work with home care.
The facial menu runs from a 30-minute express facial to a 90-minute Lunar Lift facial with buccal massage for the jaw. Dermaplaning, microcurrent and ultrasonic facials are also offered, and an Algae Jelly Masque can be added to facials for $25. The Personalized Spa Facial is the suggested first facial. For concerns that call for repeated visits, there are series of microneedling, cool peel and microcurrent treatments, and a 60-minute Collagen Renewal Treatment combines dermaplaning, red light LED and microneedling. The Collagen Renewal Treatment is not offered to first-time clients or to anyone with a history of keloid scarring.
High frequency thermolysis is available for individual spots and skin irregularities such as skin tags, sun spots, broken capillaries, rosacea, clogged pores, acne and cysts. Sessions take 15 to 60 minutes, pricing starts at $25 per imperfection, and multiple imperfections are bundled after consultation for a range of $100 to $600. Healing usually takes 5 to 14 days, skin may stay pink for about 4 to 8 weeks, and daily sun protection is required. The studio does not offer medical spa services such as cosmetic injections, microblading, laser, IPL or electrolysis, and it refers clients seeking cosmetic injections to Laurie Miller NP of New Age Esthetics in Danvers square.
Waxing uses a natural hard wax with a Tea Tree oil application, and Brazilian waxing is offered for female anatomy only. Clients using prescription or high-dose Vitamin A products such as Retin-A or Renova should stop at least 48 hours before waxing, and clients who have taken Accutane should wait 6 months after finishing it. Massage clients complete a confidential health history form and undress to their comfort level while the therapist steps out. Consent forms are signed before treatment, so clients should arrive 10 to 15 minutes early, and late arrivals do not receive the full service time. Cancellations need 24 hours notice, and cancellations without notice and no-shows are charged the full missed-appointment fee.
