Owner Darci opened the salon in Webster in 2017 after moving to Texas. The suite focuses only on curly hair, and the work is built around cutting and shaping curls rather than general hair services.

Appointments are reserved for one guest at a time. Cuts are done dry, curl by curl, combining several shaping techniques, and the methods have been refined over more than ten years. Guests can start with a shampoo in dimmed light with calming scents and a scalp massage, known here as the Lights Out Luxury experience. The suite has a TV, snacks, an air diffuser and blankets, and adult beverages are offered for services of 90 minutes or longer.

The salon's signature method is the Signature Ribboning Technique, a curl-setting method developed by the owner to define curls, with results that the salon says last several days between washes. New guests are guided through a three-visit path: a Reset and Reveal session, a Shape and Ribboning Refresh 12 to 16 weeks later, and a Shape and Curl Retreat 12 to 16 weeks after that.

Clients receive an automatic reminder 72 hours before and a personal text two days before, and must confirm. Hair should arrive fully dry, styled to show curls and free of oils, and clips, pins, hats and sunglasses should be left off beforehand. Kids' appointments need approval by text before booking.

Cuts are shaped dry, curl by curl, and the salon teaches a home routine so guests can keep their results between visits. Its signature curl-setting method is the Signature Ribboning Technique.

A private suite with one guest per appointment, dimmed lighting at the shampoo, and snacks and blankets available.
