Moda Lash Holland

Moda Lash has two locations, one in Grandville and one in Holland, and serves clients from both towns as well as Jenison, Hudsonville and surrounding areas. The salon describes itself as a premier provider of lash extensions and beauty services.

Everything is booked by appointment. The salon suggests reserving several visits in advance, since evening times fill quickly. Lash extensions are the core of the business, including classic and volume sets, fills, and lifts and tints. Brow services are offered at both locations, waxing is available in Holland, and airbrush spray tanning is available in Grandville.

The Korean lash lift starts at the lash root and gives lashes straighter, more elongated tips. According to the salon, results are tailored to each client's natural lashes and typically last six to eight weeks.

Spray tans are applied with an airbrush for an even, full-body color, shaded for each client. Regular solutions are rinsed off after eight to ten hours and rapid rinse versions after four. The salon says a tan lasts seven to ten days with proper care. Before a session, clients are asked to exfoliate and shave the day before, skip moisturizer that day, and avoid perfume, deodorant and makeup. The solutions are vegan, made from naturally derived ingredients, and free of parabens, erythrulose and fragrance.

The salon runs in-person lash extension training in small groups over two days, and students become certified in classic and volume lash extensions. Former students describe the course as hands-on, with one-on-one help. The business also sells professional lash supplies for local pickup and publishes blog posts on lash extension aftercare and choosing a lash look.

Treatments are customized to each client: lash lifts are matched to natural lashes, and spray tans are shaded individually.
