Michelle Michelle Salon is at 449 East Mound St. in Columbus, Ohio, and moved there in 2026 from Bryden Road. Parking is on-site, where every space can be used, and there is free street parking on both sides of East Mound Street. The salon is open Tuesday from 1 to 7 pm, Wednesday and Thursday from 11 am to 7 pm, and Friday from 11 am to 5 pm. Saturdays and Sundays are by appointment only.

About

The salon describes itself as uniquely collaborative and says it wants to build a sense of community both inside the salon and in the wider neighborhood. It runs community outreach and philanthropic programs locally. Its stated aim is to serve clients through knowledge, skill and compassion.

Stylists are trained through the salon's own in-house apprenticeship program, under its most senior stylist. Clients can ask to be referred to another stylist on the team. Service history, formulas and notes are kept on record and can be reached by any stylist, so a return visit can start from what was done before. Smocks are provided during services.

Booking is handled by the team directly, through Instagram or by text. New clients, or services that need a longer block of time, may be asked for a partial deposit. Deposits are non-refundable and are taken off the total on the day of service, and one is only honored when the client gives at least a week's notice to reschedule. Cancellations and no-shows need at least 24 hours' notice, or a fee of 50% of the anticipated service price may apply. Clients are encouraged to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early, and the salon may reschedule an appointment if the client has not made contact ten minutes after the scheduled time.

Unopened products bought in person can be returned within 30 days, and opened products that disappoint can be discussed with the salon for further recommendations. Complimentary product samples are offered before a purchase. Gift certificates are available in person and online. Children under 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire visit. Pets are not allowed in the salon, though service animals are welcome.
