Meraki Salon is a family-owned business run by two sisters and their mother in Rockford, Michigan. It operates two locations: the main salon on Courtland Drive NE, and Meraki Downtown + The Face Bar at 17 N Squires St, Suite B. The salon says guests receive the same service and experience at both.

Pricing is set by stylist level, which reflects each stylist's experience and goals, so the team ranges from Level 1 to Level 8. Most stylists can be booked online through the salon's booking site for either location. Some stylists are booked by phone at 616-951-7411. Hair extensions begin with a free consultation before any pricing is given.

The main location focuses on custom color and haircuts, extensions, hair treatments and waxing, and is open Monday through Thursday 9 AM to 8 PM and Friday 9 AM to 6 PM. The downtown location offers hair care, facials and waxing, with hours of Monday through Wednesday 9 AM to 8 PM, Thursday 9 AM to 3 PM and Friday 9 AM to 6 PM. Both locations are closed on weekends. Facials use Eminence Organic Skincare, are customized to each client's skin care needs, and are priced at $57 for 35 minutes or $87 for 60 minutes.

The salon describes its mission as being a positive presence in the community and giving excellent customer service. It supports World Orphans, which works with international churches to support orphans and their communities. Staff have completed Master Core Cutting Academy (2018) and Master Core Color Academy (2019) training, earned Awaken Certification (2020) and HairTalk Extension Certification (2021). The salon states it was voted best hair salon by Revue Magazine's Best of the West in 2019, 2020 and 2021, and that it is the number one Surface salon in the United States and Canada.
