Meraki Salon

Meraki Salon is at 1124 Sam Rittenberg Blvd., Suites 10 and 11, in Charleston. The salon describes itself as a collective of artists working under one roof. In-house stylists and artists work alongside independent artists who run their own businesses inside the salon.

Listed services cover lived-in hair color, extensions, skincare, lashes, waxing, and custom spray tans. The salon also offers head spa experiences, which come in two versions. The Express Head Spa runs 45 minutes for $140 and focuses on cleansing, scalp stimulation, and relaxation, followed by a blowout. The Signature Head Spa Experience runs 60 minutes for $165 and pairs a head spa treatment with a hydrating, calming facial (not a deep cleansing facial) and a signature blowout.

The head spa treatments use customized blends of oils, steam, and massage. The salon describes them as Japanese-inspired, and they are aimed at scalp concerns such as dry scalp, product buildup, and thinning hair.

Bridal hair and makeup are offered in Charleston. A Bridal Preview gives a bride a one-on-one trial of her look before the wedding day. Wedding Day Glam brings hair and makeup on location using luxury products, and Bridal Party Styling covers bridesmaids, mothers, and others in the wedding party with natural, polished looks. Bridal styles include lived-in waves, soft glam, undone texture, and radiant skin.
