Hair appointments begin with a custom consultation, where the stylist talks through ideas and options before services start. Stylists are either blooming stylists with one to five years of experience or flourishing master stylists with six to ten or more years. Every salon hair appointment includes Aveda products. Services cover haircuts, shampoo and blow dry, color and highlights, balayage and ombre, blonding, keratin smoothing, and perms, along with Aveda Botanical Hair Therapy treatments such as Invati and scalp detox. Hair prices are starting prices that depend on session time and stylist level, and stylists confirm the exact price in the chair.

The spa side offers Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal and aromatherapy massage, and a range of facials for acne, hydration, brightening and anti-aging concerns. The med spa menu includes chemical peels, microneedling and anti-aging treatments, and several of these can be combined in one visit. Esthetician Angee uses Aveda and Ultraceuticals products and can help clients set up an at-home routine. Manicures, pedicures and nail packages are offered, and walk-ins are accepted at the nail salon based on availability, though booking ahead is recommended.

Wedding parties can book hair and makeup in the salon or at an off-site location, and on-location appointments are available at any party size or venue. Additional travel fees apply to destinations including Kiawah and Seabrook Island, Hilton Head Island, Myrtle Beach and Columbia. Bridal bookings call for a non-refundable retainer of 50 percent and a signed contract, with the balance due one week before the wedding. The bridal studio can be rented for an entire party, and that rental can include a champagne or mimosa juice bar, a Bloody Mary bar, or brunch from a partner caterer. While hair and makeup is underway, staff will steam party dresses, and getting-ready photos are available.

Policies to know: cancellations and changes need 72 hours' notice, and anything later is charged the full reserved amount. Hair service refunds are not given, but adjustments to the original service can be requested within seven days. Gift cards are non-refundable and expire five years after purchase. The Pure Privilege rewards program has a one-time $10 enrollment fee, earns 10 points per dollar, and points do not expire.

Each salon hair guest receives a custom consultation before services, with ideas and options for the visit.

The salon says atmosphere is central to the visit, and the Charleston Wedding Boutique has a bridal studio set up for groups.
