Every appointment takes place in a private, sanitized studio. A waiting area is available, and treatments are done on comfortable bedding with a blanket. Prices are listed before booking, and the studio says there are no hidden fees. Monthly specials on lash and brow services are offered. Lash naps are free at the studio, and clients are asked to arrive with clean lashes and no eye makeup.
Lash extensions come in natural or classic, MegaMix hybrid (a mix of natural and volume extensions) and volume styles, as full sets, refills and touch-ups. A natural full set takes 90 to 120 minutes and a volume full set takes about 150 minutes. Touch-ups are scheduled three to three and a half weeks after a full set and require a prior full set at MegaLash. Clients coming from another salon with extensions in place need a professional removal first, then a full set at least 48 hours later. Lash lifts can be repeated after at least six weeks, and lash tints can be done every four weeks.
The brow bar covers mapping and wax shaping, tinting, a hybrid tint and brow stain, combined mapping and tint packages, and brow lamination. The studio says its hybrid tint is the only tint of its kind on the market with a henna-like effect, and states that it lasts up to two weeks on skin and six weeks on hair. Brow lamination, at $95, includes a free mapping and wax shaping session and is said to keep brows in place for six to eight weeks. Waxing is available for lip, chin and sideburns, and a men's brow clean-up is offered.
Booking policies: cancellations need 24 hours notice, late cancellations are charged half the appointment amount, and cancelling within 8 hours is charged in full. No-shows are charged the full service amount. Late arrivals may have sessions shortened and are charged the full session amount. Clients under 18 need a parent or legal guardian present to sign the waiver, and online bookings cannot be made by or for anyone under 18. Concerns about lashes must be raised within three working days, and refunds are not given for services or products. E-gift cards are sold in set amounts or a custom amount.
The studio also runs training courses for licensed aestheticians and cosmetologists in lash and brow services, including lash lift and tint, introduction to eyelash extensions, an advanced refresher, eyebrow mapping and wax shaping with tint, and brow mapping with lamination. Courses range from four to sixteen hours and carry continuing education credits. Each student receives a professional supply kit. Training requires an Illinois aesthetician or cosmetologist license, and deposits are due at booking and are non-refundable. Private classes are available on Sundays and Mondays, and a free phone consultation is offered for enrollment.
The studio builds its services around premium adhesives and lashes, helpful aftercare products and ongoing education for its team. It states that its technicians are licensed, insured and certified.
