MCL Hair Salon

MCL Hair Salon opened in 2024 on Union Street in the Marina District. Owner Monique built the salon around extension work, color and cuts for curls, coils, waves and straight hair. The salon describes itself as a premier destination for luxury hair services and says it uses high-quality products and current techniques.

Hair extensions are the salon's main specialty. New clients begin with an intake form and a consultation, and custom extension orders can be placed through a separate form. The extension hair is European, which the salon describes as ethically sourced, and is single donor, cuticle-aligned and free of silicones and textile dyes. Bundles come in straight and wavy textures, and the wavy hair is never permed or processed. The online extension shop lists eight shades, numbered and named after coffee drinks.
