Mary Conway Skin Care is run solo by Mary, who has worked in the skin care industry for over 25 years, including time at high-end spas and at a plastic surgery and dermatology clinic. She has been operating on her own for the last ten years. The studio is in Suite 17 on the third floor of Salon Republic Suites at the Ballard Blocks.

Clients can park in the free garage, reached from Ballard Way or 46th St, and follow the Salon Republic signs up to the third floor. The building is locked, so clients receive an entry code by message and wait in the hallway near Suite 17 until their appointment time. The studio is open Wednesday to Friday from 10am to 7pm and Saturday from 10am to 5pm, and is closed Sunday through Tuesday.

The facial menu ranges from a 45-minute maintenance facial to a 75-minute custom spa facial, with a men's facial, a brightening peel facial aimed at uneven tone and hyperpigmentation, and a platinum dermaplane facial that is not suited to acne-prone skin. Brow and lash services include brow tinting, brow lamination, lash tinting and lash lifts, and a Radiant Eyes package pairs lash and brow tinting with brow shaping. Waxing covers the face, body and bikini areas, with a full face wax that includes brows.

Before certain treatments, clients are asked to stop retinoids and acne medications seven days ahead and to avoid antibiotics for 14 to 21 days. Products are available through an online MyGlymed store linked from the website, and gift cards are offered.

Treatments are customized to the client's skin, with one practitioner handling each visit.
