Dry cutting is the core of the work. Hair is flat ironed and then cut while dry, following the method of the late John Sahag, which the salon describes as tension-free and suited to all hair types and textures. Giovanna brings about thirty-five years of hair work for theatre, television, film, magazines and salons.
Beyond cutting, the hair menu includes several colour options such as balayage, highlights and lowlights, all-over colour, gray coverage, toners and glosses, and bleach and tone. Brazilian Blowout smoothing, curl and texture services, perms, and deep conditioning treatments are also offered, along with Alma TED. Corrective colour and double-process blonding are by consultation only, and colour results are guaranteed only when the home care prescription is followed.
Autumn Marie handles the skin, brow, lash, body and waxing services, from facials and microneedling to brow lamination, lash lifts and waxing from lip to full leg. The salon is open Wednesday through Saturday, 11am to 7pm, and can be reached at (206) 706-7177.
