Mane Muse Salon is at 1430 Broad Ripple Avenue, Suite #3, in Indianapolis. Two women, co-owners Carly Phelps and Krista Stouder, founded it, and they aim for a welcoming space where clients feel part of a community.

Each stylist works out a custom look around what the client wants and needs. A visit starts with a consultation that plans for the day and for longer-term hair goals, and stylists show clients how to recreate the finished look at home.

The menu covers children's haircuts for ages 9 and under, bang trims, women's cuts, blowouts and extension blowouts, brow tint, two-row extension installs, and a range of color services including balayage, blonding and all-over color. Hours vary with each stylist's schedule.

The salon carries Kevin Murphy shampoo and styling products, sold for home use and used at the chair.

Each stylist plans a custom look around the client's wants and needs, starting with a consultation about the visit and longer-term hair goals. Stylists also show clients how to recreate the look at home.
