Mane Haus is a hair salon at Suite 101 in Phenix Salon Suites on Detroit Avenue in Lakewood. The salon calls itself Cleveland's most elevated hair experience. Founder and stylist Julie specializes in lived-in, low-maintenance color, and the work centers on color, cuts, blowouts and extensions.

A haircut costs $65 and takes about an hour. A signature wash is offered with a custom haircut or blowout, and conditioning treatments and scalp facials can be added to either. Hand tied extensions are priced at $200 per row, and the salon offers a free 30-minute consultation for anyone wanting more detail. New clients should book that consultation before any extension move-up.

Each includes signature blowouts with personalized treatments such as express scalp facials, trims and deep conditioning. Members get 10%, 15% or 20% off retail products depending on level. The Luxe level adds priority booking, and the Ultimate level includes a scalp detox and a complimentary luxury treatment for a guest the member brings.

The salon is open Monday 10 AM to 4 PM, Tuesday and Thursday 10 AM to 7 PM, Friday 9 AM to 4 PM, and Saturday 9 AM to 3 PM, and it is closed Sunday and Wednesday. Cancellations need at least 48 hours notice to avoid a charge of half the service; cancellations made under 24 hours carry a cancellation fee. A no-show or no-call is charged the full booked service and blocks future online booking. Gift cards are sold on the booking site.

The salon aims for polish without fuss, with each choice from technique to the setting meant to be deliberate.
