The salon aims to be a community and a place without borders, welcoming people of all nationalities and backgrounds. It serves individuals and families from many countries.
Appointments are recommended, since walk-ins are unlikely to be accommodated because of the niche services offered. Braiding and loc services are by consultation only, and for braids, twists, coil-outs and similar looks, guests email photos of their natural hair and the look they want before booking. For cuts and color, guests arrive with hair completely dry, detangled, with little or no product, and down in its natural state. Prices vary by stylist level, from Level 1 through Level 5 including 4A and 4AA, and by demand. A credit card must be on file to book.
The salon is open Tuesday to Friday 10am to 8pm, Saturday 10am to 6pm and Sunday 12pm to 6pm, and is closed on Mondays; Monday booking changes can be requested by email and are answered the next business day. Muni lines 22 and 45 serve the area. Street parking is available with a 2-hour limit where not metered, and the nearest public parking is the Union Street Plaza Parking Garage at 2001 Union Street.
The salon works with natural hair care products and aims to welcome clients of every background into one community space.
