Madd About Beauty is owned by Madison Clark, a licensed cosmetologist, and works out of a suite on Rawsonville Road. Hair is the core of the menu, with silk presses, natural styles, braids, weaves, relaxers, trims and updos making up most of what is offered.

Color appointments begin with a consultation, so the stylist can settle on the right approach for each client's hair.

The signature silk press takes about 75 minutes and includes a shampoo, conditioner and a blow-dry, finished either straight or with curls. Clients are asked to arrive with their hair fully detangled, since a detangling fee may apply otherwise. A separate detangling service is also available for hair that needs more time before styling.

New clients can book a first-visit package that combines a conditioning or protein treatment, a wash and blow-dry, and a silk press, with a short consultation built in. Clients who have visited at least twice can book a silk press with one add-on choice. A monthly membership is also offered, covering bi-weekly hair and scalp treatments and a silk press.

For clients who prefer not to travel, the Beautie On The Go option brings the stylist to the client's location for a fee that depends on distance. It must be added at least 24 hours before the appointment. The salon is open Monday through Thursday 10 AM to 6 PM, Friday and Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday 9:30 AM to 5 PM.

Each appointment is personalized to the client, and color work starts with a consultation to choose the right approach for the hair.
