Today it has two locations: one in Newport News at Oyster Point City Center, across from Taste Unlimited, and one in Chesapeake, inside The Key Salon Suites at Summit Pointe.

The salon describes itself as the Hair Extension Palace and as the number one salon for extensions in Newport News, and it says the Daily Press named it Best Salon of the Year in 2017 and 2018. These are the salon's own claims. The business installs only Luxury Tress extensions, which are imported from India and Eurasia in many textures and colors, so clients cannot bring their own hair. The salon says its extensions will not damage hair unless they are misused or poorly cared for.

Consultations are complimentary and required for first-time clients, except for sew-ins. Free hair replacement consultations are also offered. Some extension services must be booked five to eight days ahead, and select services require a deposit or a consultation. Extension pricing quoted by the salon covers a standard package with 18 to 20 inch hair, and longer lengths cost extra. Sew-in packages are quoted as 10 inch bundles, with added length charged separately up to 30 inches. Beaded-row prices are averages that include the extensions and installation, and the final cost depends on the client's request.

Several stylists operate their own chairs, so clients should contact each stylist directly to book, cancel or check availability. Booth and suite rentals are available to chair operators through the Newport News manager line.

Beyond appointments, the salon sells extensions off the rack in its Newport News location and online, along with Luxury Tress bundles and tools. Glamour Maids by Luxury Tress offers beauty concierge services for weddings, bridal parties and special occasions, either at the salon or on site at events. Luxury Tress Pro offers certified training for professionals in fusion, microlinks, skin wefts, shrinkies and other extension techniques, and the Salon Pro College runs online classes on running a salon business. The salon says its extensions should not damage hair when they are properly cared for, and its sew-in base is braided with low tension rather than tight on the scalp.
