Marcia Y Cross

Marcia Y Cross runs Luxury Tress as owner and manager. She started working as a hairstylist in 1997 and opened her own salon at 21. Her roles include hair styling, master barbering, makeup artistry, hair extension work and teaching.

Her training includes coursework with Graham Webb, study at Anthony's Barber and Hair Styling College, and Master Extension courses through the Texas School of Hair Extensions in Houston and Los Angeles, California. She has served as a State Board Examiner in Virginia.

Earlier roles included management at upscale salons, and she has owned three salons. She has taught extension and cutting courses for large corporations, including Ratner Companies, and teaches at hair shows across the country. As a freelance makeup artist she has worked with MAC Cosmetics, had work featured in national magazines, and worked on celebrity, video and photo shoots. She founded and trademarked Hott Links in February 2010.
