The salon began as a small hair salon and has grown in size and reputation over time. Co-owners Britt Guardino and Cyndi Havard have worked together since 2000. The salon describes itself as a one-stop hair salon, and states that its team has 75+ years of combined experience.

The salon operates as a collective of independent stylists, each running their own business under a shared commitment to personalized service. Each stylist books their own appointments directly, so clients contact the stylist they want. Cancellation policies are listed on each stylist's page, and clients running late should contact their stylist directly.

A visit starts with a request for new clients to arrive 10 minutes early. The waiting area has espresso, tea, sparkling water, distilled water and snacks. Products used during a service are available to buy, and at the end of a visit the stylist recommends products and can prebook a follow-up. Two-hour metered street parking is around the salon, with all-day parking in garages on C Street.

The team values education and keeps up with current trends in hair color, styling and care. Services cover women's and men's haircuts customized to the look a client wants, color for grey coverage, brunettes, reds and solid shades, foil highlights from a few pieces up to full or balayage, and extension options. The salon also offers customized conditioning treatments using Kerastase products.

Stylists work as independent professionals under one roof, with the shared aim of personalized service.
