Luxe Mane began as a one-person salon and later expanded to its Whitestown location, a house on S. Main St. that was remodeled for the business. Rachelle Robinson founded the salon and owns it, and the salon describes itself as a place where warmth meets refinement. Its mission centers on helping guests feel confident in their hair and appearance.

About

The salon works as a collaborative, team-based practice with ongoing education and certifications. Providers work within a level system that sets their pricing tier, and providers advance in level based on demand for their time. Guests can choose the level that fits their needs and budget, and pricing is set per service. The salon is also hiring hairstylists through an Associate Program that covers technical skills, guest handling and business building, with mentors and a performance-based level system and a goal of associates moving into stylist roles.

Guests are asked to keep a card on file, requested at their next appointment. Cancelling outside the notice window results in a charge of 50% of the service total, and a second late cancellation results in a charge of 100% of the service total before rescheduling. Service sales are non-refundable, though refinements and adjustments are accommodated within 2 weeks of the appointment.
