Luminous Locks began with an emphasis on hair health and continuing education for its stylists. Its signature service is Invisible Bead Extensions, which the salon describes as the most comfortable, natural-looking and versatile extension method in the industry. Extensions are available in natural wave, elite curl, super curl and straight, in longer lengths. The salon sources its hair only from Invisible Bead Extensions or Orah Hair and does not use foreign hair. The installation price includes the hair, custom color and placement, and it varies according to length, density and color customization. A consultation is required before extensions can be booked.

Beyond extensions, the menu includes blonding and Lived in Color, custom color work, extra bowls of color for add-on coloring, and a blowout membership that gives four blowouts for one price. Extensions typically last 10 to 18 months, depending on care and maintenance, and the salon recommends salon-grade products to keep color and extensions looking their best.

Policies cover deposits, cancellations and results. New clients pay a 30% non-refundable deposit that is applied to the next visit and provide card details by phone with Logan. Cancellations more than 48 hours ahead are not charged; within 48 hours, 50% of the service applies, and a no-show is charged the full service. Refunds are not given for services, hair products or extensions. Clients have 7 days to report an unwanted color result, and mistakes such as toner, root shadow or fewer than 10 foils are fixed at no charge. The salon does not offer color correction. Booking inquiries are answered within 24 hours.

The salon's work is built on continued education and on tailoring each extension install to the client's hair, with attention to placement, beadwork and color blending.
