LUMA Salon

LUMA Salon was built by Tammy as a space for talented professionals and their clients. It is locally owned and sits in Charlotte's South End. The salon describes itself as a luxury hair salon.

The salon works as a booth rental. Stylists and specialists are independent business owners rather than employees, so each one sets their own hours and pricing and manages their own bookings. Clients book online, around the clock, through the booking page of the person they want. Final pricing is set at that consultation based on hair length, density and the result the client wants; the listed prices are starting rates.

The space displays artwork by local Charlotte artists, and the salon describes its space and products as carefully considered. Davines haircare is the product line featured in the salon.

Beyond hair, the salon offers brow design through Brows by Hilary, which is located inside LUMA, and massage therapy with Joe, who runs the practice Be. Wellness. Waxing and lash lifts and tinting are also offered.
