The salon was founded by Bianca Vayna, who began her career in Los Angeles more than 20 years ago and trained through an apprenticeship at Maurice Azoulay Salon. Her earlier work included salons in Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, and she later worked for L'Oréal Professionnel building education programs for salons across Southern California before returning to Cincinnati in 2012.

Services are grouped into haircuts and styling, hair coloring, hair smoothing and specialty services. Blowouts include a shampoo and conditioner, a hot towel treatment with organic essential oils, and styling with a round brush and hot tools. Dry cutting, where the cut is shaped on dry hair so clients can see how their hair falls, is also offered. Extensions begin with a consultation.

The salon publishes hair care articles on topics like sun exposure, frizz, hair masks, shampoo and choosing a haircut. Clients are asked to reschedule or cancel at least two days before their appointment. No-shows and same-day cancellations are charged 50% of the booked service or a $25 fee, whichever is greater.
