Lotus in Bloom Esthetics is run by its owner, Payton Rogowski, a licensed esthetician who started the studio. Most of the menu is waxing, from brows and lips to full legs, back and chest, with separate intimate waxing menus for clients with a vagina or a penis. Brow and lash services include tinting, brow lamination and a brow wax with tint.

A visit starts with a free 15-minute consultation to talk through skin concerns, goals and aftercare, which is a good option for a first appointment. Intimate treatments such as the brighten and polish options and the Breakout Shield and Soothe and Restore treatments include ingrown hair extractions and steam. Brighten and polish treatments are meant to be booked one to two weeks after waxing. A numbing post-wax treatment is also available as an add-on.

Open Tuesday 3 PM to 8 PM, Wednesday 9 AM to 7 PM, Thursday 9 AM to 8 PM, Friday 9:30 AM to 2 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 3 PM, and closed Sundays and Mondays. A valid credit or debit card is required to book. Cancelling or rescheduling needs 24 hours' notice; later changes incur 50% of the service price, and missed appointments are charged the full price. Arriving more than 7 minutes late can mean a shortened session or a need to rebook, and the full fees still apply. Payment can be made in cash, by credit or debit card, or with a gift certificate. Single services are paid at the visit, while packages and memberships are paid when purchased. Tipping the esthetician is optional; it commonly falls between 20% and 35% of the total.

Some treatments include plant extracts such as aloe, dragon fruit, eucalyptus, rosemary and lavender, so clients with flower or plant allergies are advised against them.

The studio is set up to serve people of all hair, body and skin types, and to welcome people of every gender, background, anatomy and orientation.
