The owner, Teasiah Gilson, works with locs, protective styles and healthy hair services. The salon's stated aim is to make natural hair feel appreciated and to have clients leave feeling assured and well looked after.

Consultations are required for first-time loc clients and for clients who have not been back in two to three months or longer. Well-maintained locs can often be discussed by video or phone, while repairs or an inspection call for an in-person consultation. Many services take a deposit between $10 and $60, and a Starter Loc Package and Loc Maintenance Bundle are available for those planning ahead.

Cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice. Later cancellations may be charged a fee, and no-shows are charged the full service amount and may affect future bookings. Arrivals have a five-minute grace period, a $10 late fee applies after 30 minutes, and the appointment may be canceled with the card charged. Appointments running past 9 PM carry a $15 fee, then $30 per additional hour.

Hours are Monday and Tuesday 6 AM to 9 PM, Wednesday 9 AM to 9:30 PM, Thursday 6 AM to 9 PM, Friday 9 AM to 9 PM and Saturday 6 AM to 6 PM. The salon is closed on Sundays. Buy Now, Pay Later is offered for bookings from $50 to $4,000, with approval needed before the appointment.
