Each visit begins with a consultation that looks at the hair's characteristics and determines the right service. Services are then shaped around each client's hair, goals, lifestyle and overall hair health. The studio describes its visits as more than hair work, an experience, and says its aim is healthy locs grown from the inside out. Adult Sisterlocks establishment packages start at $900 for up to 7 inches of hair, and the final price is set at the consultation.

Loc Symmetry also runs Grid Academy, a one-day Learn to Earn workshop for people who want to become loc practitioners, priced at $1,250. The workshop covers Microlocks starting and parting techniques, a training manual, a mannequin, a starter kit and tools, sanitation guidelines, business startup information, and the basics of hair and scalp analysis, and ends with a certificate of completion. A non-refundable $250 deposit is due at registration, and the remaining $1,000 is paid in cash on the day of class.

The studio says it promotes healthy locs from the inside out and tailors each service to the client's hair characteristics, goals, lifestyle and hair health.
