The menu covers natural hair care such as locs, retwists, twists, braids, coils and curl packages, along with extensions like sew-ins, crochet styles and quick weaves. Thermal silkening and silk press, hair color, cuts, styling and stand-alone hydration are also offered. Prices are starting points and rise with hair length, density and the complexity of the style. Deposits are $20 for regular appointments and $50 for sew-in and crochet services, and clients must arrive with their hair detangled and free of knots, glue and shed hair.
The salon aims to give each visit a memorable experience built on service, technical skill and creativity. Stylists build customized hair care plans that include maintenance in the salon and at home. The salon also sells natural hair extensions and wigs through HerGivenHair, including the CHOPPED by ChiChi tapered wig in full lace, top lace and a hair-color version.
The salon is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10am to 5:30pm, and serves adults 18 and older only. Guests who are not being serviced are not allowed in, and food is not permitted. New clients, and those who have not visited in six months or more, complete a questionnaire before booking. Classes and speaking events are arranged by email.
