The space combines a working salon with an adjoining gallery that shows original graphic-style artwork by the owner, and the gallery also carries artisan-made goods, handcrafted home decor, specialty haircare and other curated items. Visits begin online. New clients create a profile, choose a time and receive a confirmation email, and a credit card on file is needed to hold a booking. Reminders arrive by text three days and two hours before the appointment. Haircuts include a customized cut, a shampoo with scalp massage, a warm towel and styling. Color services include any trim or haircut, shampoo, blow-dry, styling and treatments the color requires. Because clients are asked about past color or chemical services, medications, medical treatments and product use before a color service, stylists can plan around the client's history. A stylist may decline a service if they do not feel confident they can reach the client's goals.

The salon offers a range of color and cut packages, from a grey-coverage root service to full all-over color, blonding with balayage or babylights, dimensional highlights and lowlights, and bold color blocking or fantasy looks. Some color work, including corrective color and K-tip extensions, begins with an in-person consultation before a future appointment is booked. Barbering is offered as its own service, and the salon also handles bridal blowouts, special occasion styles and bridal trials for approved bridal clients, with bridal inquiries answered personally.

Beyond the chair, the space is available for photography rentals, bridal prep, content creation, private events and workshops. A studio walk-through consultation for planning these uses is offered at no charge for 30 minutes. Booking and cancellation terms apply: changes need 24 hours notice, a late cancellation or no-show is charged in full or in part, and refunds are not given for services, though stylists provide adjustments within one week.

Named after an Aesop fable about acting with intention, the salon uses consultations for color, perm and extension work so that plans are set before the full service is booked. Stylists keep the right to decline work they do not feel sure they can deliver well.
