Lashes by Ashlee

Lashes by Ashlee is an eyelash extension business run from home in Kingwood, Texas, and has operated that way since February 2023. Ashlee owns the business and does the lash work herself.

Lash services center on full sets and refills. Classic sets add one extension to each natural lash for length and some fullness. Hybrid sets mix classic and volume lashes, and the site presents them as suited to naturally fine or slightly gappy lashes. Volume sets attach several extensions to each natural lash for more dimension and texture. Full sets take about an hour and a half. Refills take about an hour and are offered in the same three styles, but at least 40 percent of the existing extensions must remain, otherwise a new set is needed. Refills are not placed over another artist's work; that work is removed and a fresh start is made.

Special pricing covers facial waxing, about 20 minutes for $10, and eyelash removal, about 20 minutes for $25. Eyebrow and lip waxing are also offered, though no price is listed for either.

The business is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm, and is closed Wednesday and Sunday. Clients book by calling or texting, pay a deposit at booking that goes toward the service, and settle the rest at the appointment. Deposits are nonrefundable. Clients should arrive with lashes clean and free of makeup and debris, text when they arrive, and expect a 15-minute grace period; appointments running later are cancelled and must be rescheduled. A 24-hour cancellation notice is required. No-shows and cancellations without a call are charged the full service amount and block future bookings. Only the client receiving services may attend, so children and extra guests are not allowed. Cash, Apple Pay and Venmo are accepted.

The business also runs a one-day lash extension course lasting 8 hours for $500, covering classic, hybrid and volume lashes. A $200 nonrefundable deposit is due at booking, with the balance due on the training day. The course includes a fully loaded lash kit and mannequin, a lash extension manual, instruction on application, removal, isolation, sanitation, hygiene and aftercare, a certificate of completion, marketing tips and lifetime mentorship.
