Before the first treatment, North Carolina regulations require every new client to complete a Good Faith Exam with the medical provider. The exam costs $27 and is needed once every 12 months. Pricing is per visit, with no memberships or contracts, and the three packages are optional.

Each client has an individual consultation, and the treatment plan is adjusted to skin tone, hair type, the area being treated and the client's goals. The studio uses a Lumenis LightSheer Quattro diode laser, which it describes as FDA-cleared. Sapphire contact cooling is used to help protect the skin during treatment, and protective eyewear is provided for each session.

A full course is recommended, and most clients need about 8 to 10 sessions, depending on hair type, skin tone and hormonal factors. The first gap between sessions is about four weeks, and each later gap is about two weeks longer than the one before. Maintenance sessions may be needed later, depending on hair regrowth. The studio describes its approach as combining advanced technology with individualized care, and says its treatments are performed by trained specialists with professional aesthetic education.

Clients are asked to avoid sun and tanning and to skip waxing, plucking and epilators for two weeks before treatment, and to shave the area beforehand unless told otherwise. Treatment is not performed on clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or on areas with active skin infections, open wounds or recent sun exposure.

Each client is assessed in a personal consultation, and the treatment plan is tailored to skin tone, hair type, the treatment area and goals.
