About

Owner Kitty Varco opened the salon and developed the LaKoet product line that carries its name. The salon says it works with sustainable, natural ingredients and recycled materials, and it carries brands it describes as representing kindness worldwide.

Services are grouped into cut and design, hair color, smoothing, style and treatments. Color is priced a la carte, and haircut prices depend on the stylist's expertise and how long the service takes. Starting prices may rise with hair length, texture or added services. All hair lightening includes a complimentary quadraplex treatment, and color should be booked as the first appointment when paired with a haircut or blowout.

Extensions are priced after a complimentary consultation, and the salon has one specialized extension technician. Services over $250 need a deposit of half the service price, and extensions need a consultation and a 50% deposit before booking. Cancellations and changes should be made at least 24 hours ahead, since late cancellations and no-shows forfeit 50%, which can be applied as a deposit toward a future visit. Adjustments are best requested within two weeks of the first appointment, as additional charges may apply after that, and the number of sessions needed can vary.
