About

The Artist and the Antidote is run as a collective of stylists who share a similar approach to their work. The salon says it aims to set new benchmarks in the beauty industry, and it emphasizes excellence, diversity and personalized service rather than one-size-fits-all solutions.

Every service is priced by the hour, with a stated rate of $100 to $150 per hour. Each stylist sets their own hourly rate, and pricing can vary with the stylist's experience level. Service times depend on hair density, length and styling preferences. The cost discussed at consultation is the amount paid, with no surprise or hidden fees, and no tipping is expected.

Each booked time slot belongs to one client, so appointments are never double booked. A consultation is required before any extension service and before any specialty or corrective color service. New clients and those returning after a long gap can book Like A Virgin, which includes a consultation, foiling or painting, and a blow-dry.

Bridal clients can book event styling for weddings, which covers bridal hair and makeup at the salon or on site, along with a complimentary event coordinator from consultation through the wedding day. Bridal pricing and booking are handled through an inquiry form, and dates should be reserved well in advance. Photographers are welcome in the salon during bridal appointments.

The space is described as serene and stylish. Online booking covers individual, group, membership and gift card appointments, and returning clients can log in to manage their bookings. The salon is closed on Mondays, open 12 PM to 7 PM on Tuesdays, 11 AM to 8 PM Wednesday through Friday, and open on Sundays by appointment only.

Built on personalized service with no one-size-fits-all solutions, and a stated aim of giving every client an inclusive and safe environment.

A serene, stylish salon space.
