La Jolla Skin Studio is a medical spa located in one of La Jolla's sought-after neighborhoods. It is led by physicians and staffed by a team that includes physicians, nurses and estheticians. The studio says its team brings decades of combined experience in aesthetic medicine, and it describes its practitioners as highly credentialed.

Injectable services include neuromodulators such as Botox, Dysport and Xeomin, along with dermal fillers including Restylane, Restylane Lyft, Contour and Sculptra. Treatments are tailored to each client's goals and are often planned as a series of appointments. Most injection visits take 30 minutes or less. Neuromodulator results build over about 7 to 14 days and continue to improve over two weeks.

The skin menu covers microneedling, which the studio offers for texture, fine lines and acne scars, and XERF, a radio frequency treatment the studio says stimulates collagen to lift and tighten skin. HydraFacial uses vortex technology and serums. Wellness injections deliver vitamins and minerals. For the body, EMSculpt BTL is described as building muscle and reducing fat in a 30-minute session with no downtime. The studio says it treats skin concerns holistically, addressing internal causes as well as external factors, and uses only FDA-approved technologies.

Appointments can be booked online individually, or through memberships, packages and gift cards. A card on file is required to book. A 50% non-refundable deposit is charged at booking and applied to the final bill, with the remainder due after the visit. Deposits apply to treatments only and are non-transferable. Appointments cannot be cancelled, and rescheduling requires written notice at least 48 hours ahead through the contact form or by email. Arriving more than 10 minutes late cancels the appointment. All sales are final. Clients may request a particular provider, though the studio cannot guarantee that provider will perform the service.

The Vault membership costs $200 per month and includes a complimentary light peel during the member's birthday month. Members receive 25% off EMSculpt, 20% off the signature 90-minute facial, and 10% off Dysport, filler, microneedling, PRP, chemical peels, the signature 60-minute facial and medical-grade skincare. The studio states that membership funds do not expire and carry no hidden fees.
