CARA Studios opened its first studio in North Park in 2019, expanded to La Jolla Village with a team in August 2024, and opened a satellite location in Mission Hills in August 2026.

The studio says each facial is customized to the client's skin on the day of the visit, and that its treatments combine ingredients with massage and personal care. New guests booking a chemical peel are asked to email before booking. The FACIAL, at about 1 hour 15 minutes, is suggested for clients who are unsure where to start, and the Acne Consultation + Treatment is limited to new guests. The Face Reality Peel is for returning guests.

Beyond facials, the studio offers brow waxing, brow tinting and shaping, lash tints, Korean lash lifts and brow lamination. Services such as brow, lip and chin waxing and waxless brow shaping are booked by request. The studio also offers pregnancy-safe and oncology-safe facials, and a CELLSTORY treatment by request.

The studio runs PRETTY Good Friends, a private social club for CARA guests that hosts beach walks, rooftop gatherings, pottery nights and curated outings. Appointments are by booking only, and gift certificates can be ordered by text or email. The studio prefers text for contact, with voicemail also available.
