Kokoro Kara Wellness

The studio was rebranded as Kokoro Kara Wellness in 2021. The name carries the meaning of coming from the heart in Japanese, which reflects the holistic side of the work.

The approach combines a holistic view of skin health and well-being with a scientific one. Cheryl's view is that healthy skin starts from within, so skin care is paired with attention to the whole body and spirit. Reiki, an energy healing method with Japanese roots, is offered as its own service alongside the skin care menu.

Services are grouped under Skin Care, Lash Extensions and Reiki Healing. The studio partners with Naturopathica for its products.

The studio is open by appointment only, Saturday through Wednesday, from 11am to 7pm. Appointments can be booked by text, email or Instagram. Clients are asked to arrive no more than 10 minutes early and to report any illnesses, injuries or health changes before their visit. Reservations are held with a credit card, and cancellations need 36 hours notice. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged 50% of all scheduled services. Cash, Venmo and Zelle are the preferred payment methods. Packages and gift certificates are available.

Skin health and overall wellness are addressed through the whole person, with scientific methods built in, and the salon holds that good skin begins internally.
