The founder died on July 9, 2025.

The space is designed as a calmer alternative to department store cosmetics counters. Makeup services include in-studio makeup application, in-studio makeup lessons with detailed instruction and a written beauty profile, eyebrow shaping and individual eyelash applications. Skincare covers facials, peels, microdermabrasion, microcurrent and oxygen treatments, and skincare aestheticians give individual consultations on services and products for each client's needs. The studio says its facials use organically grown ingredients.

Waxing and tinting cover face, body, eyebrow and eyelash services, and threading is offered for the lip, chin, eyebrow and face. Body services include partial and full self tanning and body waxing, with prices from $40 for the stomach to $175 for a full back.

Wedding services make up a major part of the studio's offering. Makeup can be done on location, both locally and abroad, and brides can book a personalized in-studio makeup trial to test a look before the day. For destination weddings, the studio also gives makeup lessons with step-by-step directions. Destination travel is possible, with travel expenses billed on top of the service fee, and a two-day minimum fee may apply depending on the destination. According to the studio, Kimara has more than 20 years of experience in the high-end wedding industry, and the studio and its staff handle over 300 weddings a year. The studio also says its wedding artists have been featured in Town and Country Weddings, Brides and NY Magazine's Weddings.

Booking is by phone at 212-452-4252, and the studio recommends calling at least a week before an event. Clients should arrive 15 minutes early, report changes or cancellations by 5pm the day before to avoid being charged for the full service, and mention any health conditions, recent procedures, allergies or injuries that could affect the service. A 4.5% service tax applies to makeup and skincare services under New York State law. Gratuity is not included, and 15% to 20% is suggested, paid in cash or by Venmo. A series of any service can be bought in increments of 5 for 10% off or 10 for 20% off, and series are non-transferable. Gift certificates are sold in any amount or for any service.

Each visit is built around the individual client, with skincare aestheticians consulting on services and products for each client's needs. The makeup line is meant to enhance natural features rather than conceal them.
