K Tal Salon

K Tal Salon was founded in 2017 in Oceanside by Cassie Talamantez, who named the business in honor of her mother. The salon describes itself as offering premium hair and makeup services in a warm, friendly and fun setting.

On the hair side, services include women's, men's and children's haircuts, shampoo and styling, flat iron work and curls, and formal styling and updos. Color options range from root touch-ups and express root touch-ups to all-over color, partial, three-quarter and full highlights, top highlights, and balayage. Color glazes and a clear shine topcoat can be added. Prices shown are minimum starting prices, and the final cost depends on hair length, density, service time and how much product is needed. Color correction and extensions are priced after a consultation, and some color work may take more than one visit to reach the desired result. A complimentary consultation is available and is recommended before a dramatic change.

Makeup services include full face light and formal makeup, eyes-only application, and add-ons for airbrush makeup and false eyelashes. Special event options cover bridal hair and makeup trials and day-of services, bridal party hair, makeup and eyes-only looks, and flower girl hair and light makeup. On-location visits carry a travel fee based on distance and travel time. A non-refundable reservation deposit may be required for large wedding parties or on-location weddings, and it is applied toward wedding day services.

A referral program gives both the current client and the new guest 20% off a service.
