Curly cuts are done dry, with the hair in its natural curly or wavy state. The hair is then washed and styled, set under a hood dryer and sometimes diffused. New clients book an educational appointment that includes a clarifying shampoo, a hard water treatment, a scalp massage, a hydrating conditioning step, curl coaching, a styling session and product recommendations. New clients also leave with tips for refreshing curls between washes and protecting them overnight. Returning clients, kids and anyone who only needs a trim can book their own cut types, and extra detangling time is available.

Color appointments include a shampoo, conditioning and styling. Requests start with an online color intake form and an emailed estimate, and a deposit is taken for longer appointments and applied to the total. Color correction for uneven or banded color can take several visits, typically three to eight hours depending on the project. Going blonde in one session is not always possible, since natural color, texture, previous color and hair condition all affect how much lift is achievable. A patch test at least 48 hours before a color or tint service is recommended, though clients can waive it on the intake form.

Clients can find free parking in the shopping center lot. Wifi is available for anyone who wants to work on a laptop while under the hood dryer, and snacks, wine and drinks are offered during visits. Prices listed are starting prices and can rise depending on hair length, thickness, time and products used. Clients who need a slot can join a waitlist through the online booking site after first trying to book, and email is answered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
