Marquee Salon opened in 2012, started by three friends with Bay Area roots. Dannielle Pimm is one of the founders and now owns the salon. The salon describes itself as a relaxed, uplifting space for hair care.

The team works in a collaborative, stylist-driven way, and each stylist keeps their own service menu, so prices vary by stylist. According to the salon, its stylists have backgrounds in both classic and creative techniques.

Visiting is straightforward. The salon is open every day from 10 am to 6 pm, and after-hours appointments can be requested. There is no parking at the salon, so clients should allow time for parking or public transit. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule, and children are welcome only with an appointment.

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice carry a cancellation fee. Color services may require a pre-consultation, and bridal services begin with a consultation. The salon also sells hair products.
