Jenna Tacci Cosmetics is located in Suite 5 of Building I at Park Plaza Professional Center on Hale Avenue in Morgan Hill. The studio focuses on permanent makeup, with brows as its main offering, plus lip blush and fibroblast treatments for the face, neck and body.

Brow services include microblading, ombre brows, powder brows and nano brows, with virgin brows taking about two hours. Lip blush is a semi-permanent tattoo that defines and adds fullness to the lips and typically lasts two to five years after touch-ups. Every permanent makeup service is done in two sessions, and a touch-up follows about six weeks after an initial lip blush appointment. Brow touch-ups are booked 8 to 12 weeks after the first session, and annual touch-ups are available a year or more later.

Corrections are available for brows that another artist has already worked on. Before booking, prospective clients submit a photo of the existing brows so the studio can approve the work first. A numbing agent goes on before any procedure, and the client waits roughly 30 minutes for it to take effect. Single-use instruments are used throughout, and the workstation is sanitized after every session. Aftercare lasts 10 days following microblading and 7 to 10 days following powder brows. Each client also leaves with a take-home kit containing an antibacterial cleanser and a healing ointment that is free of petroleum.

Fibroblast is a non-surgical treatment that uses a plasma pen to place tiny dots that tighten and resurface the skin. Options include piercing hole tightening, mouth, mommy tummy, neck lift, panda eyelift and a full face session. Fibroblast is not offered to clients with skin tone darker than Fitzpatrick 4, and a patch test may be done. Sunscreen of SPF 50 or higher is required for 30 days after the carbon crusts shed. Permanent makeup is not offered to clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a history of keloid scarring, or meet other listed medical criteria. Healed results vary by client depending on skin type.

Cancellations or reschedules made the day before an appointment are charged 50% of the booked service, while cancellations, reschedules or no-shows on the day are charged the full amount. Clients with symptoms of illness are asked to reschedule, and that appointment is charged in full. No refunds are given for services performed. Cash is accepted.
