The studio centers on personalized, inclusive service and on helping each client feel confident in their hair. Josue Colon Bodon, who goes by SWAY, has worked as a hairstylist for over a decade and welcomes clients of every hair texture and gender.

Services are grouped into haircuts, styling, color and consultations. The signature offering is The Sway Blowout, which includes a wash, a cut, a pin-set style for bouncy hair and a treatment. The salon calls it its luxury signature blowout, finished with a round brush, blow dryer and pin clips for a soft, smooth look. It is priced at $150 with a haircut, or $120 for the styling-only version. A basic blowout with cut, wash and smooth style is $120, and a styling-only basic blowout is $80.

Color work includes color correction, which starts at $100 per hour, gloss or base color from $190, partial custom color from $220, and full custom color from $275. Vivid color starts at $250 for the first two hours, then $100 per hour. A $40 consultation covers color techniques, upkeep and possible shade changes over time, and is used to build a customized color plan for new color clients.

Other services include clipper cuts from $75, bang trims for $30, split end cuts for $100 (with requirements), silk presses for $150 and updos for $175.

The studio focuses on personalized, inclusive service and on confidence, with color planned around each client through a consultation.
